Chroma green portraits with the Merlin Law Group

Tampa attorney portraits – The Merlin Law Group is a firm of property insurance lawyers. They represent clients when insurance companies deny, delay, or underpay property insurance claims. With offices in Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Phoenix, Red Bank, Tampa, and West Palm Beach they serve clients from coast to coast.

Everyone from the Merlin group was gathered for an annual retreat in Sarasota. So, they contacted me to shoot business portraits of the forty attorneys from their nine offices. The marketing team requested I shoot each person against a green screen. Later we would replace the backgrounds with a cityscape of each attorney’s home office.

I got to the Hyatt in Sarasota early and set up the large green screen and lighting in a conference room that was reserved for the pictures. Everyone jumped in for their shots between meetings and in the end we shot forty two headshots as well as a few group portraits. The team at Merlin was great to work with and we got some great portraits. After the session was done it was time to head home and put the backgrounds in place.

In the end the shots came out great and we were able to create some unique images!

Tampa Industrial Photography Assignment

Safbon Water Technology (formerly Doosan Hydro) is a Tampa, Florida based subsidiary of Safbon Water Service, Inc. They design, manufacture, and construct custom engineered water and wastewater treatment solutions for both public and private sectors. They also design, manufacture, and supply desalination and membrane treatment products across the globe.

When updating their new website Safbon’s marketing department got in touch with us to update the pictures of their facility as well as team members for both web and print marketing.

On the day of the shoot I set up lighting for company headshots first thing in the morning and captured about twenty portraits of the team against a plain white collapsable background. Afterwards we captured images of the design, engineering, and sales teams working and collaborating on projects together. We finished the day with industrial photography of the shop facility where all of the design and engineering come together.

It was a great experience working with the team at Safbon in Tampa!

Shooting straight from St. Pete to Tampa with Jagged Peak

Commercial photography assignment with Jagged Peak in Tampa & St. Petersburg, Florida.

Jagged Peak is a Tampa based e-commerce solutions, software, and logistics services provider for a broad range of global clients and industry. Their headquarters is in Tampa Bay with their corporate offices right off of the Courtney Campbell Causeway. They also have one of their fulfillment centers located in nearby St. Petersburg, Florida.

Jagged Peak’s marketing team got in touch when they decided to update their online and print marketing material. We planned a two day shoot to capture both Tampa Bay locations.

Tampa commercial photography assignment. On our first shoot day we started off at the Tampa office. We shot exterior images of the building, interior shots with employees interacting, as well as corporate headshots in the boardroom. I set up lighting, a gray background, and the tethered laptop for everyone to chose their favorite images.

Commercial photography St. Petersburg, FL. On day two we focused on the St. Petersburg facility to capture images of their fulfillment center as well as setting up for another set of headshots in the afternoon. In the end we got some great images that really illustrate their diverse capabilities and showcase some of their strengths.

Business Portraits Tampa

Portrait assignment in downtown Tampa, FL – A client recently contacted me to update his business portrait for a new professional opportunity as well as to update his social media. So, we decided to shoot the portraits in the lounge on the top floor of the Skyhouse Channelside in downtown Tampa. We started out shooting headshots with lighting and a gray background. After we got shots with the background, we took some using the environment to create a different look.

It’s essential to have new and updated business portraits in today’s media driven world. Professional headshots give you a chance to show yourself or employees in the best light possible. They can separate you from the masses. In addition headshots can provide an insight into you or your company’s personality. Professional business portraits show that you care enough about your own image to manage someone else’s.

Corporate portraits Tampa, FL – VanDyk Mortgage is a national mortgage banker and broker. In addition to its headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan they have second location in Tampa, Florida. Their marketing department contacted me to shoot business headshots of their Tampa team members while attending a sales meeting and seminar at the Feather Sound Country Club. We shot approximately 20 individual head shots along with a few group portraits in the mobile studio we set up next to the main conference room. Giving all the sales exectuives and brokers a chance to get their headshots taken between meetings. Everyone chose their favorite picture on the tethered laptop and we went home with some great shots overall.

Flying in for some headshots at the Tampa Airport Marriott with Cott Beverages

Executive Portraits at the Tampa Airport Marriott

Tampa executive portraits for Cott Beverages a supplier of private label carbonated soft drinks based in Tampa, Florida. In addition to providing beverages for retailers, Cott produces its own brands including Cott, RC, Vintage, and others.

I was contacted by Cott Beverages to capture executive headshots of their Board of Directors while they were in Tampa for an annual board meeting at the Tampa Airport Marriott. I had previously shot pictures of their CEO for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award, so was excited to work with them again.

They reserved a conference room for the portraits where I set up lighting and a background. We shot almost everyone’s headshot the first day. We had to schedule some time the following day in order to shoot two of the board members we missed because of delayed flights.

Getting real with Barkett Realty in St. Petersburg, Florida

Professional Headshots & Business Profile Photography

St. Petersburg, FL – Barkett Realty is a full-service boutique real estate brokerage servicing buyers, sellers, and developers.

The team at Barkett Realty contacted me when they decided to update their website. They had just redesigned their office space in St. Petersburg, Florida. They wanted images taken of the buildings interior and exterior space. Additionally they needed a group portrait along with realtor headshots for the entire team. Since there was great texture to work with, I decided to shoot the head shots against one of the large sliding wooden doors and a brick wall for an environmental look consistent with their website’s design. We even managed to get some shots of the real estate team’s office work mate, Maggie the golden retriever.

Power portraits at Duke Energy in St. Petersburg, Florida

Headshots with the Duke Energy team in St. Petersburg

Duke Energy, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina is one of the largest electric power holding companies in the United States and has provided power to the Sunshine State for decades.

Corporate headshots St. Petersburg, FL – Duke Energy was holding a one day conference at their downtown St. Petersburg corporate office. So, they reached out to have new business headshots taken of their attendees.

We set up lighting and a backdrop in a conference room nearby to where they had workshops planned throughout the day. As a result we were able to shoot everyone’s portraits between the sessions. Everyone was able to choose their favorite shots onsite with the tethered laptop for instant review of the portraits. We shot for most of the day capturing about 50 head shots in total.
